In partnership with, we built to allow Americans to shop online for what they need, while donating a meaningful percentage of their purchase to COVID-19 relief funds.

We were inspired by Sheets & Giggles, a company that has pledged 20% of its online sales for the next 30 days to COVID–19 relief ($15k donated in 10 days). We thought if ever online consumer brand did the same thing, millions could be raised.

What it does

It allows American consumers to search on for the categories of goods they need, where they'll find participating companies who have pledged to donate a percentage of sales to COVID–19 relief.

How I built it

Mostly with ReactJS, CSS, react Animation Libraries and Material UI.

Challenges I ran into

Search functionality logic, routing challenges, finding participating brands, finding a partner charity.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We're proud to officially partner with's COVID–19 relief fund, which gives brands a fantastic, nationally recognized donation partner to easily send donations. Give Directly was very excited about Covid Co-Op!

Streamlining all desired functionality to deliver a working MVP quickly.
